Remote World charge a flat-rate $10 INC GST shipping fee to send orders via Australia Post.
Please understand that we only ship within Australia, we do not ship product Internationally.
All Remote World orders are shipped via Australia Post.
All orders are sent via Australia Post, and will typically take around 5-7 business days from the next business day following the date the order was placed.
So if you place an order on a Saturday, your order will be dispatched on the following Monday, and will typically take 5-7 business days.
Please note that due to Covid-19 Australia Post business restrictions and compliance, deliveries may take longer that the above, and so we appreciate your patience and understanding that Remote World is unable to control delivery arrival times.
YES, as we use Australia Post to ship all orders, we are able to send orders to PO Boxes (Post Office Boxes).
NO, as Remote World operates as an online storefront only, we are not able to offer in-store pickup/collection of orders. All orders are shipped via Australia Post.
When purchasing a remote, it's important you select the correct remote to ensure that the remote will work with your existing system!
Remote World always recommend that you match any new remote to a currently working remote to avoid disappointment.
Should you purchase the wrong remote, you will not be able to trigger the operator with your new remote. Basically you can't mix and match brands or remote types unless specified by the manufacturer.
As Remote World only offer 'Genuine', manufacturer original remotes and transmitters, you should match visually with your existing remote that you are choosing the same (correct) remote.
Remote World do no sell 'compatible', or after-market remotes designed to replicate or work with a genuine system, so should your new remote not like your existing remote, then you have selected an incorrect and not compatible remote.
If correctly paired to your existing receiver or you have cloned the signal to your new remotes for remote systems that allow for cloning (or copying of the working signal), your existing or current remote/s should continue to trigger your automation.
If your remote has more than one button, then the remote can be programmed to perform additional functions such as trigger a garage door (if a compatible receiver has been fitted to the garage door opener).
Some gate automation brands and openers can have one button open the gate fully, whilst the second button can open the gate only part of the way allowing for pedestrian access only. Additionally, the remote may be able to trigger up to 4 automation devices (where a compatible receiver has been fitted to the opener).
The short answer is YES, it is possible to end up with a single remote that can trigger more than one opener.
It's also important to note that you may need the services of a suitably trained technician that can supply and fit the correct 'receiver' (a type of antenna with logic) to the opener that is not currently working on the same remote type.
Unfortunately Remote World do not offer such services, nor do we offer receivers for DIY installation. You will need to contact and engage someone with gate automation and/or garage door opener installation knowledge.
Some manufacturers include paper instructions in the remote packaging, but should there be no instructions included, Remote World have a digital PDF version available to download on the 'manuals' page of this website.

YES, all remotes supplied by Remote World have a battery fitted.
Unfortunately, if you can't see the remote you need on our website, then we do not have a remote on offer that meets your needs.
